WHO WE ARE
HOME AND LANDOWNERS ORGANIZATION is dedicated to the advancement of issues related to living in the Southeast Hillside area of the Municipality of Anchorage. We promote the Anchorage Hillside rural way of life in a community of low density so that the character of the community experience remains.
HALO is dedicated to matters of interest within the area of the Anchorage Hillside using boundaries established in the Bylaws by the corporation's Board of Directors. We bring matters of community importance to the attention of the public. We appear and testify at public meetings on pending zoning and planning cases. Subdivision and Public Works projects, and other actions of private persons or public organizations having an impact on the community life style, and in all of these activities we defend the community's unique heritage of a largely natural, pure and healthful living environment. We are an all volunteer organization that welcomes interested individuals becoming active members of HALO
